At the beginning of August, the Department of Social Services determined that Charger's needs would be better served in a residential facility. We had grown to love him, but we recognized that some of his deep hurts and difficult behaviors would require the help of full-time counselors. After a very tear-filled week, we said goodbye and he moved from our home.
We continue to pray that God will heal Charger and that he can find peace and a family to belong to.
