Home again, home again... It's hard to believe that it has already been over 3 week since we landed back in Colorado. Life has been incredibly full, but very good. We have jumped back into family life, holiday festivities and catching up on normal everyday stuff. Here are a bunch of pictures from our last few weeks in Uganda.
The place we called home for 6 1/2 week. Isn't it beautiful!
A little guy that was brought in. He is about 2 1/2, but weighed only 10 lbs when he first came. By the time we left he was perking up quite a bit, gaining a little weight and had quite the personality.
We were able to visit Ekisa Ministries (http://www.ekisa.org/, http://ekisainternational.blogspot.com) for an afternoon and spend time with their sweet children.
We were able to volunteer a couple times with Spring of Hope Ministry (http://www.springofhope.org.uk/index.html). They are a ministry that works with kids with disabilities and their families. Their goal is to train the parent to help their children grow and develop and to reshape the common belief that these children are cursed. They provide physical therapy and medication for many families. We were blessed by the opportunity to learn and serve and hear about God's faithfulness to this ministry and its founders.
The village surrounding Spring of Hope headquarters and lots of kiddos from the village that came to play with us.
At the school that was founded by the same couple that started

Second trip with Spring of Hope:
This was at another village where Spring of Hope was running a monthly clinic. There were many people that came in for therapy and medication. We spent most of the time counting and packaging pills. Lots of counting, but lots of fun!
Some of the children and families that came for therapy.
On our way home, we took a short cut that ended up taking a little longer than planned. = )
While we were waiting it was a great opportunity to play with and photograph some of the village children and the countryside.

Amazima Ministries (http://amazima.org/):
This is the ministry that was founded by Katie Davis (http://kissesfromkatie.blogspot.com/). It was so neat to see the fruit of yet another willing heart that is given to loving the least of these in Jesus' Name.

Our last Boda-boda ride with our favorite driver, Ali. Ali recently excepted Jesus as his Lord. Please keep him in your prayers as he continues to grow and be changed by God's grace.
Thank you all so much for praying for us! There are no words to express how amazing this time has been and how blessed we are to have experienced it!
